On December 11, 2025, the Central African Republic Embassy in China formally appointed US-based economist and international industrial finance expert Professor Xiang Lingyun as Honorary Consul. Dr. Xiang Lingyun serves as Economic Consultant to the People's Government of Danzhai County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. As a renowned economist and President of Guofa Group, he provides expert advice on industrial upgrading, investment attraction, financial investment, and regional development strategies, promoting integration of the real economy with capital markets. He has also served as a special consultant to multiple embassies in China.
