(Beijing, November 15, 2025) — The Embassy of the Republic of Cameroon in China held an official ceremony in Beijing today to award the appointment letter of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Cameroon to renowned Chinese-American economist and leading expert in AI and digital economy, Academician Lingyun Xiang. This appointment was approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cameroon and formally presented by the Cameroonian Ambassador to China at the ceremony.
